Th BSAVA has set a standard for small animal practice and this practice is registered as meeting that standard

1. 24 hour emergency service.
2. Continuing education for veterinary surgeons and nurses.
3. Properly trained staff.
4. A professional standard of behaviour from all staff.
5. Clean and hygienic premises.
6. At least one consulting room with adequate privacy.
7. A separate operating theatre.
8. Inhalation anaesthetic apparatus with emergency equipment.
9. Properly equipped X-ray room with adequate safety arrangements.
10. Accurate case records for all patients.
11. Safe, hygienic recovery cages of adequate size for the usual species of pets.
12. Adequate laboratory facilities readily available.
13. Proper storage and adequate stocks of medicinal products.
14. Proper storage and disposal of clinical waste.
15. Proper observance of Health and Safety legislation.

Veterinary surgeons at this practice are members of BSAVA.
