Catherine joined the practice as a student veterinary nurse in March 2010, and later qualified in October 2012. During this time Cat also received training in Canine Hydrotherapy and is an integral part of the team in our hydrotherapy centre. She has since become a clinical coach and is heavily involved in teaching our current student veterinary nurses. She has a special interest in canine behaviour and enjoys being in the operating theatre most of all. She also has an infectious sense of humour and is always on hand if anyone needs cheering up!
Outside of Chaseview life, Cat spends most of her time walking, training and generally hanging out with her three English Springer Spaniels, and is passionate about both gun dog training and working them during the shooting season. Cat enjoys clay pigeon shooting and hikes into the wilderness, again with the dogs and occasionally with her husband too. She has had a life-long interest in photography, drawing and design, having first qualified as an artist many years before embarking on a career in veterinary nursing; something she hopes to explore more in the future. Cat is also a bit of an adrenaline junkie and has been paragliding, skydiving and microlighting previously on several occasions.
