Nigel qualified from Liverpool in 1986 and after three years in Hitchin he joined Brown, Plumley and Hart at their surgery in Henry Street. These three stalwarts have retired, the practice moved and became Chaseview and Nigel is mortified to have changed from “the young man” to “the old codger”. By employing excellent staff he tries to do as little work as possible. When he does turn up he enjoys interfering with all aspects of mixed practice while moaning about how much better it was in the old days before we had all this fantastic new equipment.
He can no longer claim to be a marathon runner after dodgy knees and laziness intervened. He does do a bit of swimming and cycling as he knows how much his colleagues appreciate seeing a man over fifty in Speedos or lycra.
He is a member of The Joint Measurement Board for horses
