Vets Kate Kerry and Dawn Meadows and nurses Helen Bigmore, Rachel Harries and Caz Brown completed a skydive on the 30th January 2010 to raise money for Help For Heroes and Pancreatic Research Fund.

Arriving in silence at the army barracks on the day of the jump, it was clear that all of us had suddenly realised what we were about to face. Nerves really began to take over once we had our jump suits, harnesses, hats and goggles! Despite the tiny aircraft, 120 mph free-fall and -23 degree conditions adrenaline kicked in and every single one of us enjoyed the indescribable experience. Having the Red Devils jumping with us on the day encouraged us to face our fears and helped to raise over £2000 for charity.

We would like to thank all of our clients for their support in helping to raise the money. Sponsorship is still coming in and it is not to late to donate. Please contact us if you would like to contribute.

We would also like to thank everyone at Silver Stars South Cerney for their reassurance and for making the day so enjoyable. It is a day that none of us will forget!
